The ancient Chinese knew a thing or two about how important peace and harmony was, as all our ancestors did:
Then regardless of faith, wealth or rank, it came down to a more basic fact, – survival: Keeping warm, ensuring there would be water and food enough throughout the winter, or during the summer heat, were not worries or side issues, but what life was all about.
To be attentive, and consequently respectful, was a way of life. Because of this, they easily percieved and were constantly aware of the natural harmony inherent in all things around us
Nowadays because of the pace of life we have long lost contact with our higher awareness. We use our grey matter so intensively that we have obliterated our spiritual awareness.

We are therefore no longer naturally respectful nor do we take care, not to disrupt this delicately balanced energy.
It would enable us to “survive” – live day to day, in a more harmonious manner.

A healthy respect which seems to so sadly have slowly disappeared over the recent centuries was simply THE way of living many centuries before.

This acknowledgement of the environment and how our behaviour within our living space could enhance and better balance enegies is what nowadays eludes us, and is what we know as Feng Shui.
